About Sherry
It's in my blood. I've been using a hammer and saw since I was 5, learning from my dad who could fix or build anything. As the oldest child, I was included and taught not to fear pursuing my dreams.
As a creative professional and local remodeler, I love helping people achieve their dream home remodels within a realistic budget, turning client visions into reality. I have an exceptional eye for detail and enjoy getting to know my clients, helping them find the items and design they love, and creating a cohesive style that reflects their unique vision.
This year, I joined the board of the Greater Houston Builders Association’s Remodelers Council, chairing the Annual Charity Project. I stay updated with the latest developments in my field and have built strong industry connections. One of my most rewarding projects was the 2015 Charity Project, where we redesigned highly used spaces at the Family Time Crisis Center, a domestic violence shelter in north Harris County.
Apart from my work in other people's homes, I have a heart for mission work in developing countries. I recently visited Haiti with my son, and am always interested in how construction is done in other countries with such limited resources. I even picked up a tip or two from some of the concrete workers who were skimming the outside of a house with beautiful architectural detail.

Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) is a designation program that teaches the technical, business management, and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry – homes modification for the aging-in-place. The NAHB Remodelors Council – in collaboration with AARP, NAHB Research Center and NAHB Seniors Housing Council – developed this program to provide comprehensive, practical, market-specific information about working with older and maturing adults to remodel their homes for aging-in-place. Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) is a designation reserved for experienced builders, and is a symbol of the remodeling professional. Before beginning the certification process and attending the advanced GMR courses you must have a minimum of 5 years of remodeling experience and have earned a Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) designation. Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) was designed to help builders and associates involved in construction to better contend with their challenges through collective action. We believe in building a strong and profitable building industry for Houston members and customers.
My favorite aspect of this industry is the endless creative possibilities. No two people are the same, nor do they have the same vision or needs. Therefore, no two designs are the same. My joy comes from successfully helping my clients achieve a space they love and fits their needs.

Whodid It Designs offers top-to-bottom home remodeling and renovations. In conjunction with the remodeling side of the business, Sherry Pruitt also has a background in interior design. Therefore, you will always come out with not only a well designed space, but a beautiful one as well.

We specialize in bathroom and kitchen remodels--from flooring, cabinets, countertops, lighting and all new fixtures. We can do a complete redesign of a single space or your entire home, assisting you with interior/exterior house color, storage, form and functionality. We also enjoy helping you refresh + repurpose items already owned that are sentimental or might help you save a little money.
How it Works:
1. Get in Touch
When you contact Whodid It Design, you hear back from Sherry Pruitt. She will set up an appointment to meet with you on your property and begin the process of getting to know you and the spaces you are looking to remodel. While there, she will take measurements, get photos, and get a feel for your style and a vision for your dreams. Whether your project is big or small, when Sherry Pruitt takes you on as a client, you will not be disappointed.
2. Design Build
To bring your vision to life, we will focus on designing the build. This involves detailed consultations and collaborative planning, with a focus on adding functionality tailored to your unique lifestyle. During this stage, Sherry will gather all the ideas and preferences discussed, integrating them into a cohesive design plan that enhances both aesthetics and usability. After finalizing the design, you will receive an initial estimate reflecting the envisioned project.
3. Approval and Timeline
Once the design is approved, Whodid It Designs will layout the time frame for the project, view and agree on the budgeted amount, and review and sign a Texas Association of Builders remodeling contract. From there, Sherry seamlessly manages the project from commencement to completion.
